and star rating. They even provide guest reviews. The difference between a
motel and hotel was a motel had a reception or lobby where you can check
in, pick up your key for your room, which is usually accessed from outside. In
most cases your parking spot is outside or opposite your room. Motel are
sometimes called motor lodges. A hotel has a reception and
your room is accessed from within the hotel. Hotels also provides a range of
other services from concierge, room service, bell boys. Depending on the hotel,
they may have restaurants, swimming pool, conference rooms and more. Inns are
similar to motels, although they are often referred to as bed and breakfast. Of
course motels, hotels and resorts can also offer breakfast. Today, the distinction
between inns and motels, hotels and resorts have blurred. So what's in a name?
When you have hotel chains, calling themselves resorts, and prices at some inns
comparing favourably with some known brand hotels, and hotels calling themselves
resorts, it boils down to what they are offering and what it is you are seeking.
So when booking, making sure you read the description, see what facilities are
