From the beauty of mother nature, the man-made creations and the huge

Natural Attractions
- Niagara Falls USA
Shared with their neighbours in Canada, Niagara Falls is one
of those awe-inspiring attractions that attracts visitors from around the
world. Since its formation more than 12,000 years ago, the magnificent Niagara Falls
was
first discovered by French explorer Father Louis Hennepin in December 1678.
The falls are also the birthplace of commercial hydro-electric power, when in Niagara USA, Nikola
Tesla developed the alternating current system, which allowed for the
transmission of power generated along the Niagara River to homes and
businesses. In 1895 one of the world’s first commercial hydropower plants
was constructed.

Theme Parks and Amusement Parks
Of course the USA is considered the birthplace of theme parks and amusement
parks. It was George W. Ferris, a bridge-builder from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
who designed the first ferris wheel.
Coney Island is probably the earliest, most famous and better known amusement
park destinations. During
its hey days from the 1880s to World War II period, Coney Island had a number of
amusements parks, attracting millions of visitor annually. Today, there are a
number of separately owned and managed amusements. There are of course, three
rides at Coney Island that are designated New York City landmarks and are listed
on the National Register of Historic Places. The are Wonder Wheel (Ferris wheel
- built 1918), The Cyclone (wooden rollercoaster - built 1927), and the
Parachute Jump (built for the 1939 new York World's Fair).1

- Cedar Point
One of the most popular amusement parks for thrill ride seekers is in
Sandusky. Cedar Point is located on the northern tip of Ohio, which calls
itself the roller coast capital of the world. The park boast over 15 roller
coasters, thrill rides, family rides, kids rides and water rides. There is
Dinosaurs Alive!, Soak City Waterpark, Challenge Park, live shows, resort
style accommodation and the Cedar Point Beach.

World
Walt Disney World and Walt Disney World Resort is located in Lake Buena
Vista, just southwest of Orlando, Florida. You can check out the

With a number of theme parks, not only in the USA, but in select
destinations around the world, it is no wonder that Disney Parks are the
most visited them park company.

New York City
Known as the ‘Big Apple’, New York City is one of those popular must see
destinations, a favourite with domestic and international visitors. Home to
a number of world famous American icons, from the Statue of Liberty, the
Empire State Building, Times Square, Grand Central Terminal, Central Park
and the Rockefeller Center, these are just some of the great attractions to
be found here in New York City.

Located in the far north-east of Illinois on the shores of
Lake Michigan, Chicago is one of the USA largest cities with a world-class
status in the heart of the Midwest. With a rich history recorded in popular
culture, Chicago arts, entertainment and performing arts, from comedy
troupes, theatre production, classical music, ballet, jazz, blues, soul,
gospel and hip hop, are just some of the many genres of entertainment and
the arts to be found here. Chicago is home to world-championship sports
